Directions:
Lincoln is centrally located in the East Midlands, in easy reach of London, Leicester, Hull, Nottingham, Sheffield and Leeds.
Road access is via the A1 with intersections at Newark (A46) from the South and near Retford (A57) from the North. The city is 40 miles east of Nottingham on the A46 and 40 miles south of the Humber Bridge on the A15. Lincoln is less than an hour’s drive from the M1. For overseas visitors: although there are closer airports, the easiest international airports are Heathrow and Gatwick. From there you can catch a direct train to King’s Cross station, and from there travel on to Lincoln. For further information, see the King’s Cross website.

Parking: please note that we cannot provide parking for conference visitors on the University of Lincoln campus. However, there are car parks in town very close to the campus. The nearest is the Lucy Tower Street multi-story car park (postcode LN1 1XL, UK), which is just over the other side of the Brayford Pool from the University. Getting around Lincoln: Lincoln is a Cathedral City with a wealth of historical sites of interest, as well as plenty of places to eat, drink and relax.
